A lot of music from this era was what I like to call poetic storytelling. When done successfully it would touch your soul and transcend time. Thanks for a lovely bit of writing!

Thanks for this lovely tribute. My dad played his music in the car and I remember hating it. Looking back, it makes me feel nostalgic. Reading your piece and hearing AJ's version brings a newfound appreciation for it.
