Thank you. I spent four years of my life in Div School but two questions continued to haunt me: (1) what was sacrifice all about anyway? and (2) how do you imagine what “fully human/fully divine” means and more importantly how might it actually have played out in reality? Girard helped me with the first and now you have helped me with the second.
as if to say, “You know I can hear you, right? Reminds me a few times when other superheroes or villains at a distance from Superman, saying something they wouldn;t say to his face . And Superman would say those very words "reminding them" of his super hearing. (In one case a young female minor supervillain remarking how good looking he is)

You have used words to paint a picture of a Jesus I've never seen before. This is a Jesus I could get to know, a Jesus who I would want to trust me and I him, this is truly a Jesus I desire to be friend's with.
Just saw Season 5 of The Chosen. (A portrayal of Holy Week including the Last Supper & Gethsemane.) Jesus, as portrayed there, may be more along the lines that you have suggested. Worth watching. W.
Thanks, I've seen a couple reviews. Sounds like they still struggle to find the balance though. I gathered the Temple scene was intense but in an almost crazy ballistic sort of way, which doesn't sound quite right either. (Meanwhile I personally struggle to just get through one scene of the dialogue, but other people's mileage clearly varies. :) )

That's so very kind Frank. Appreciate it so much! Thank you!
Nunc dimittis: I have now heard Magnum P.I. invoked in an apology for the gospels.
I think Jesus could never be 100% likeable to us at all times when, by nature, we crave to be flattered at all times.
