What a beautiful story about the relationships you established that day while serving and then sharing a meal with people willing to be real and share themselves (as you did). It gladdens and enriches my soul. I visited a small town two weeks ago, Chimayo (New Mexico) and was blessed with similar experiences. No ulterior motives. No manipulative aims. Present was only the desire to share life and kindness. Thank you for your story.
