These ignorant talking points are being repeated on the right, too. An article by Jim Geraghty in the National Review uses similar disdainful language, going so far as to call people "idiots" who suspect this injury could be vaccine-related and picturing them as "coming out of the woodwork." Dale Carnegie famously posited that nobody wins an argument, ever: the 'winner' has wasted time and burned social capital, while the 'loser' remains either defiant or quietly hurt behind outward swagger.

🤷 As I wander around noticing things, ↑↑ captures quite well how we tick.

When the subject of "the medical profession is always right" comes up I tell the story of the history of ulcers. It wasnt until1989 that we learned that it was caused by bacteria and the man who discovered it years before was vilified by big pharma the the medical professions because the producers of zantec would make less money!
