Brilliant Bethel, I've avoided reading much about this because it is too horrific. However, your piece addressed the larger picture, a more complete picture of the lives lost, the policemen, the shooter and her parents, the cultural narrative and evil in our midst. I feel the emotional body blow and I'm trying not to weep. I've been following Jordan Peterson's take on transgender surgeries on adolescents, and, not surprisingly, the instant pro-trans hysteria after this nightmare was expected. Yes, this is war and evil is on display. As always, after reading your articles, I am thankful for your efforts and your willingness to deal with such difficult subjects. God bless you.
